Music Meister Set To Be Flash/Supergirl Crossover Villain

Some of you may be unaware of this, but Melissa Benoist (Supergirl) and Grant Gustin (The Flash) were both member of the popular FOX series Glee before they got their bigtime superhero gigs. So it wasn’t a huge surprise when we found out they were making a musical crossover in the future. But now, we finally know who the villain for this crossover will be.
During today’s CW’s presentation at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, Greg Berlanti announced that the villain for the Supergirl/Flash crossover will be Music Meister, who has the ability to control people through songs.
This character was first introduced in the animated series Batman: The Brave and The Bold, and he was voiced by How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris. As to whether or not we’ll see NPH return to voice the character, Berlanti has said, “We haven’t gone about casting yet. It’s the right question though!”
That most likely means no NPH. Bummer, he would’ve been great for the role. Regardless of that, it’ll be interesting to see who they pick to play the villain, and just how musical the episode will be.
There’s been no official release date for the Flash/Supergirl crossover yet, but we’ll let you know when we have one.
