Viola Davis Is Set To Receive Star On Hollywood Walk of Fame

Getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is basically proof that you’re…well, a star in Hollywood. It’s a landmark that not all actors reach, but only the best of the best. Earlier this month, Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds received his well-deserved star, and now another talented comic book film star is next in line to receive theirs.
CBS has reported How to Get Away With Murder and Suicide Squad actress Viola Davis is set to receive her Walk of Fame star at the beginning of next year. What’s more, Davis’ co-star in Doubt Meryl Streep will be giving a speech for her at the ceremony.
Davis has shown time and time again that she’s a very talented and capable actress, and she more than deserves her star. We hope that more actors of color will be recognized for their talents and receive their own star in the future. Until then, congrats to Viola Davis.
