Call of Duty fans, rejoice! Activision has announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be getting a standalone release next week. Modern Warfare Remastered arrives almost ten years after the hit game was first released.

Modern Warfare was the first COD game set in modern, 21st century times, as their previous installments were set in World War 2. It has long been considered the best game in the Call of Duty franchise, and one of the best shooter games on the market.

Fans have been clamoring for a remastered version of the game ever since. Last year, a remastered version became available alongside Infinite Warfare, but it’s just been announced that a standalone version will be arriving on June 27.

Modern Warfare Remastered is priced at $40, and will be available both digitally and at retail stores. Sony PlayStation console owners will have the first crack at the game, due to Activision and Sony’s partnership. It has not been made clear when other versions will be available for purchase.

It is also worth noting that the Variety Pack released earlier this year, that includes Killhouse, Creek, Chinatown, and Broadcast maps are not included in the $40 game, but will be available separately, for $15.

Modern Warfare Remastered will be available for PlayStation on June 27.
